Spring Basketball is eager to build relationships within our community from the elementaries on up and are excited to launch our Spring Youth Basketball League (SYBL) beginning with Draft Day on Saturday September 13, 2025 at Spring High School!

Our SYBL will provide opportunities for K-6th grade boys and girls to develop the skills, knowledge, and passion for basketball both individually and as a team and for our current basketball program to help coach, officiate, and interact with them, as well. Please be advised that due to heavy rains yesterday, the Spring High School groundbreaking ceremony scheduled for today, Aug. 28 at 6 p.m. has been postponed to a later date. Stay tuned for an update on the rescheduled date.


We are excited to invite you to celebrate a major milestone with us — the groundbreaking of the new Spring High School, a visionary new facility that will elevate excellence across Spring ISD.
Bordered by Hardy Toll Road to the west and Riley Fuzzel Road to the north, the 185.2-acre site will become home to a modernized facility equipped for state-of-the-art learning and instruction.
The new Spring High School is a historic project funded through the 2022 Bond and designed by Huckabee Architects and Smith & Company Architects.

As we begin the school year, we want to ensure that all students are set up for success by following our campus expectations. Please carefully review the following guidelines:
Dress Code
Headwear: Students may not wear anything on their heads during the school day (hats, caps, scarves, bonnets, etc.).
Jeans: Young ladies may wear jeans without holes. If jeans have holes or tears, tights must be visible underneath.
Clothing Fit: Tight-fitting clothing is not permitted.
Shoes: Sandals, house shoes, and slides are not permitted. Crocs are allowed but must be worn in Sport Mode (heel strap secured).
Non-Compliance: Students out of dress code will:
Call a parent to bring the correct attire, OR
Be provided a change of clothes to wear for the day and return at dismissal, OR
Serve in-school suspension (ISS) if no solution can be found.
Prohibition of Metal Cups
For safety reasons, Stanley Cups or any other metal cups are not allowed. Students may only bring plastic cups or water bottles to school.
House Bill 1481 – Cell Phone and Electronic Device Policy
In compliance with House Bill 1481, the use of cell phones and all other personal electronic devices (including smartwatches, tablets, earbuds, etc.) is prohibited during instructional the instructional day. Devices must be powered off and put away during the school day. Failure to comply will result in disciplinary action in accordance with district policy.
